Integrity Welding Ltd. is currently accepting applications for a full time Structural Steel Estimator with Piping experience
Duties
Job Responsibilities include:
- Develop detailed cost estimates for fabrication and RFQ’s supporting bidding activities
- Analyze project specifications, drawings and other documentation to prepare time, cost, material and labor estimates
- Conduct site visits to obtain field measurements and/or develop project scopes
- Communicate with clients to clarify project requirements and address any concerns
- Present estimates and proposals to clients
- Review takeoffs with estimating team, assist with gathering quotations, updated material costs
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- Experience in steel fabrication estimating, strong knowledge of pipe fabrication and welding processes
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints and specifications
- Ability to detail small steel packages
- Proficient in estimating software and tools (eg. Solidworks, AutoCAD software)
- Experience with Microsoft office and excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational, time and budget management skills
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Education
Experience in steel fabrication estimating, strong knowledge of pipe fabrication and welding processes
